Where to visit

Put on your walking boots and head off out of the farm up the lane and in minutes you are in the Peak District National Park  - the walking is endless and the scenery breathtaking.
A short drive will take you to the following: 
  • Chatsworth House - known as the Palace of the Peak, Chatrsworth House is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Devonshire.
  • Haddon Hall - fortified medieval manor house dating back to 12th century
  • Hardwick Hall - spectacular Tudor treasure house, built by Bess of Hardwick
  • Hathersage - burial place of 'Little John', friend of Robin Hood
  • Castleton - outstandingly prettty village with 4 underground caves all definitely worth a visit
  • Bakewell - small market town famous for its puddings!
  • Chesterfield - famous for its Crooked Spire and outdoor markets.
  • Botanical Gardens, Sheffield - 19 acres featuring plants from all over the world
  • Sheffield Theatres - see what's on whilst you're staying with us or plan your visit to take in a show that you've missed!

  • Kelham Island Industrial Museum - watch craftsmen performing skills of olden times as they make cutlery and surgical instruments
